COVID 19 Update - August 2020


COVID 19 has impacted everyone's daily lives, and here at Septimus Spares, we have been no different.

We have seen a huge increase of domestic parts sales and enquiries for replacement machines, which has stretched the supply chain somewhat. We are still aiming to provide our speedy service and aim to answer all queries in short order, but there may be times where there is a slight delay in getting back to you regarding your query. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you!

The National Lockdown November to December is expected to put strain on the logistics chain with the run up to Christmas, and a forecasted increase in home shopping. Due to this we cannot guarantee a 1-2 day delivery service at present, and would ask that you avoid choosing this option at checkout if at all possible. We are experiencing extended delays with Royal Mail postage, with certain 1st class deliveries taking up to 5 days to be delivered in certain areas of the country. Although the majority of orders can be fulfilled, we can't forecast how we will be affected with delays to incoming and outgoing deliveries. We will send all orders valued over £100 via DHL next day service as standard in this lockdown window. 

There is currently an extended delay for items being shipped into the UK from overseas, current delivery window is 3-4 weeks, but we aim to advise our customers as soon as we receive notification of any delays to out of stock items.

Currently, we cannot guarantee a normal service to overseas customers. We have experienced some parcel delays of up to 5 weeks in some instances.

Although it sounds all doom and gloom, we are happy to advise that in the vast majority of cases, we are able to fulfill orders within the requested timescale.
